What is a Sport England Clubmark?
In plain English it is an accreditation scheme to support the development and
recognition of clubs that are safe,
effective and child friendly.

Ipswich Judo Club became the sixth judo club nationally to achieve the Bronze level of the BJA Club Recognition Scheme and Sport England Club mark in 2004.
The scheme was established to acknowledge the high
standard achieved by clubs in the promotion and delivery of the sport.
To gain the award, each club had to achieve a set criteria in four categories;
coaches and volunteers, duty of care and child protection, club management and
playing programme.
